Canterbury Museum

Our Organisation

The maintenance, operations and development of the Museum are governed by the Canterbury Museum Trust Board under the provisions of the Canterbury Museum Trust Board Act 1993.

A significant proportion of the Museum’s funding comes from the four contributing local authorities, Christchurch City Council, Hurunui District Council, Selwyn District Council and Waimakariri District Council.
