Air New Zealand 75 Years
Come on a journey to discover the 75-year history of our national airline. Find out how Air New Zealand has adapted, innovated and evolved with developing technology to meet the needs of travellers.
Students will be able to find out what it was like to fly in the replica Solent Flying boat and the DC-8 cabins then experience a virtual reality flight. Develop an understanding of identity by following the history of Air New Zealand’s uniforms from the early military styles to current fashions created by local designers. Explore the interactive activities and other hands-on experiences to extend the learning of the students.
Please note the virtual reality experience is suitable for Year 3 onwards.
