Rocks are the essential component of our planet so how can all rock be formed in only three ways yet come in different shapes, sizes, textures and colours?

Through the language of geology and access to Canterbury Museum’s hands-on rock specimens, students will learn how different rocks form and gain an understanding of how the land is twisted, shaken and shaped over time.
