Executive Assistant to the Museum Director

If you have extensive experience and expertise as an Executive Assistant to a busy Director (Chief Executive), and want to work in one of New Zealand’s premier heritage and tourism attractions, this is the opportunity for you.

We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and ‘can do’ person who will thrive in this highly varied role:

  • provide proactive right (and/or left!) hand support to the Director

  • provide secretarial support to the Museum Trust Board

  • administer the Museum’s HR function

  • organise and prepare for meetings

  • prepare documentation and PowerPoint presentations

  • liaise with external organisations. 

You will be a team player who believes that no job is too big or too small. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a multi-tasker who can work to deadlines. You are reliable, entirely confidential, dedicated and have advanced working knowledge of MS Office, and at least 10 years’ experience in senior administration roles.
