Searching for Santa is Free Festive Family Fun
Thursday 08 December 2016
The Great Museum Santa Search is on now at Canterbury Museum. Families are invited to search all over the Museum for toy Santas that have been cleverly hidden amongst the exhibits.
Many of the Santas are part of a collection that belonged to the late Laurie King. He was well known locally as ‘King Santa’ and brought fun and laughter into the lives of children in hospitals, playcentres and at community charity events for more than 50 years.
Since it started in 2003 thousands of children have entered the Great Museum Santa Search competition each year. The event has become an annual favourite for many Canterbury families. The winning child who guesses the correct number of hidden Santas will win a gift pack from The Museum Store.
The Great Museum Santa Search competition takes place until 8 January 2017. See entry form available at the Museum for conditions or go to here.
Free activity, donations appreciated.
