Monday 03 May 2021

Canterbury Museum is home to the largest collection of Antarctic-related material in the Southern Hemisphere.

Drawing on the Museum's archives Julia Bradshaw, Senior Curator Human History, uses some of the Antarctic objects chosen for the Museum's 150th anniversary publication House of Treasures: 150 Objects from Canterbury Museum Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho to explore the stories of how these special treasures came to be at Canterbury Museum.

This talk was hosted by the Friends of Canterbury Museum on 6 April 2020 at Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand.
