Explore our long relationship with the Moon, our present understanding and visions for the future. This is an out-of-this-world experience of epic proportions.

The education programme 

Guided by our educators, your students will:

  • Examine a 4-meter-diameter scale model of the moon and discover how it affects us on Earth

  • Investigate the lunar landings of the late 1960s and early 1970s

  • Learn about the Maramataka (Māori lunar calendar).

  • Explore the future of space exploration.
