Sunlight – Ihi Kōmaru, developed at Te Manawa, is an interactive experience that tells the story of the Sun and how it has shaped the world around us.

Guided by our educators, your students will:
experience the Sunlight – Ihi Kōmaru exhibition
investigate light and shade and how this relates to the Sun and to the movement of the Earth relative to the Sun
understand that the Sun is the centre of our solar system
examine the importance of the Sun to life on Earth.
