Thirteen artists bring art and science together to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy river environment. Meet the inhabitants of our waterways and be inspired to help protect this living world.

Living World and Visual Arts

Duration: 1 Hour

Suitable for: NE - Year 10, maximum 30 students

Availability: 22 July - 1 November

Cost: Free, koha appreciated. 

The Education Programme

Guided by our educators, your students will:

  • Understand the importance of waterways to Māori
  • Identify the inhabitants of the braided river
  • Explore the art works in The Water Project.
