Who am I? This is me!

Using the exhibition Moana Currents: Dressing Aotearoa NowWho Am I? This is me! looks at how we dress today and shows how our history of migration and cultural exchange are being woven together to create a new identity for Aotearoa New Zealand.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Suitable for: Year 1 - 13, maximum 30 students

The education programme

Guided by our educators, your students will:

  • Examine the influences in the making of an Aotearoa style

  • Look at their own identity to develop ideas for self-expression through art and language

  • Explore the Moana Currents: Dressing Aotearoa Now exhibition
