Canterbury Museum Curators will share a few of their favourite treasures from the collection.

Joanna Szczepanski looks at the challenges of organising a patriotic festival in Christchurch during World War I and showcases an excerpt from festival organiser Arthur Lilly’s choral work Life.

Jill Haley investigates an album of photographs taken by professional photographer Herbert Ponting in Antarctica during his time with the Terra Nova expedition.

Matt Shaw highlights a few of the specimens from the collection of Chas Chilton, who, when young, was fascinated with tiny “well shrimps” drawn up from deep beneath the family farm at Eyreton in the early 1880s.
