Tales by Moonlight
Grab a cushion and join us for a lunar tale or two in the light of artist Luke Jerram's four-metre glowing MOON installation.
Our storytellers will read some of their favourite stories about our wonderful Moon. The stories will be aimed at pre-school-aged children, but all ages are welcome.
MOON is an inflatable four-metre orb lit from within and printed with high-resolution NASA imagery of the moon's surface. It's here as part of the exhibition Our Moon: Then, Now and Beyond, on tour from Nelson Provincial Museum.
Please note that while attendance is free, spaces are limited so you need to register using the links below to attend.
Tales By Moonlight takes place every second Friday from 10.00–10.30 am.
Please note this event will not take place while Canterbury is at Alert Level 2. The sessions scheduled for 21 August, 4 September and 18 September have been cancelled.
