The Great Museum Santa Search
It’s Christmas time and the Museum Santas are up to their old tricks – they’re hiding among the exhibits! The Great Museum Santa Search is back on.
The Great Museum Santa search is an annual tradition at Canterbury Museum.
Count the toy Santas you see in the Museum and record the number on your entry form (available from the front desk). If you’ve spotted every Santa, you’ll go in the draw to win a fantastic prize.
To help you get started, your entry form will have some clues and a guide to keep track of the Santas you’ve seen.
Our Santas are part of a collection that belonged to the late Laurie King. He was well known locally as “King Santa”, and he and his miniature Santas brought fun and laughter into kids’ lives for almost 56 years.
The Great Museum Santa Search has been an annual tradition for more than a decade.
The competition takes place from 1 December until 6 January 2019 and is only open to children under 15 years. Free activity, donations appreciated.
