The Great Museum Santa Search 2020
Our annual family favourite returns! There are between 10 and 20 Santas hiding all over the Museum.
Search the displays and count the number of Santas you see for the chance to win a fantastic prize from the Museum Store.
To get started, pick up an entry form from the foyer. It will have some clues and a guide to keep track of how many Santas you’ve seen.
The Museum Santas are part of a collection that belonged to the late Laurie King. He was well known locally as King Santa, and he and his miniature Santas brought fun and laughter into kids’ lives for almost 56 years. The Great Museum Santa Search has been an annual tradition for more than a decade.
The competition takes place from 5 December 2020 to 10 January 2021 and is open to children aged 15 years and under.
Conditions of entry
Entry must be on an official entry form. Employees of Canterbury Museum and their families are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person will be accepted. All entrants must be aged 15 and under. The competition closes at 5:30 pm Sunday 10 January 2021. No entries will be accepted after this date. The first correct entry drawn on Monday 11 January 2021 will receive a prize from the Museum Store.
