Jo Dixey is a freelance embroiderer, stitch artist and author. Jo trained at the Royal School of Needlework before working for the Embroiderers Guild in the UK.
Her works have included large altar clothes, university banners and work for the movie and fashion industries.
Her exhibition pieces range from large wall hangings to fine embroidery. These pieces are mostly based on the human form and often comment on life.
Threadworks is held every two years. This year's theme is Renewal - the Giving of Life.
