We're building a new Museum for Waitaha Canterbury but you can still visit our exhibitions while the Rolleston Avenue buildings are closed.
For a taste of Canterbury Museum visit our pop-up in the CoCA Toi Moroiki building, 66 Gloucester Street, as well as Quake City, a special exhibition telling stories from the Canterbury earthquakes, and Ravenscar House Museum, an extraordinary collection of New Zealand art and objects house in a purpose-built contemporary house.
You'll also find smaller Canterbury Museum exhibitions in locations around Waimakariri, Hurunui and Selwyn Districts.
